Dr. DeJesus Named Favorite Health Care Professional in Watermark’s WAVE Awards
“I am honored to be recognized by the Watermark readers with this WAVE Award, and I accept it in the name of our wonderful, caring and dedicated staff,” says Dr. DeJesus. “We sincerely thank you for trusting us with your medical care.”
Since 1993, Dr. DeJesus has devoted most of his time caring for HIV and hepatitis infected patients. He is the Principal Investigator for the OIC research department, where he oversees the conduction of multiple Phase I-IV clinical trials, mainly designed to improve prevention, management and treatment of various infectious conditions in search for a cure.
Dr. DeJesus has worked on NIH and DAIDS HIV treatment strategies and vaccine studies. He is also an advisor to the Research/Development divisions for private pharmaceutical companies with their creation of new study concepts.
“The research and work we do at OIC have helped to shape the treatment paradigms in the entire U.S.,” adds Dr. DeJesus. “OIC will remain at the vanguard of new therapeutic interventions and vigilant in our fight to eradicate HIV and hepatitis.”
