OIC Wins Wave Award for Favorite Local Healthcare Professional

The Orlando Immunology Center (OIC) announced today they have received the Central Florida/Orlando 2015 Watermark Awards for Variety and Excellence (WAVE) Award for favorite local healthcare professional.

“We see this as a huge honor and will continue to do everything in our power to help patients from all walks of life be healthy, happy and whole.”

Readers then voted on nominees through two rounds of balloting. The winners in these categories represent businesses and professionals that take pride in and serve as allies to the LGBT community.

OIC was voted as the no. 1 choice for the favorite local healthcare professional category.

“My staff and I are grateful to have been nominated and chosen to win the WAVE award,” says Edwin DeJesus, M.D., medical director of the Orlando Immunology Center. “To us, this award reinforces the trust and satisfaction we hope to instill in every patient that comes through our doors. Dr. DeJesus and his staff have also been voted one of Orlando Magazine’s “Best Doctors” every year since 2010.
